I need to design some new glassware for fall and winter. But my mind is still in summer mode. Maybe I need to put on Charlie Brown holiday dvd's and become inspired? Just a thought.

And remember you will have brush strokes. That is the beauty of glass painting. It's not to look like a decal.

If you don't like how your piece looks, wash it off and start over. Once baked though, it's permanent.

glass painting tip #3

tip for the day #3. Don't buy the expensive paints right away when starting your painting on glass journey. That way if you feel it isn't something for you, you haven't put a lot of money into it.

Clean out condiment jars to use as practice pieces. That way you can just toss it out. Painting on glass isn't quite as easy as it looks. So just practice.

I am a wife and mother of 4 as well a grandmother of 2. My husband is a retired Master Chief from the navy.

I have been painting since I can remember. My motto is if it doesn't move, I'll paint on it. (well sometimes after a long day my dog will have cute tips of his ears. I think he prefers pink...lol).
